The best line at The Subterranean Wall for sure!!

On the far left side of the wall next to a nice shade tree is an overhanging crack/face system.  Climb straight up and over for your four star victory!!  It's difficulty, as are many of the lines on this wall, is still unsettled.  Nonetheless, this line will challenge every inch of your being.  It's a must do!!!

Sit start the same as

Enter the Dragon

. Do several hard finger jams, and then reach up and left to sloper. Ninja out left to the obvious arete, and slap your way up until you reach a solid sidepull with your left. Continue to the top (easy) or exit after you grab the dragon's tear (guano flake).

Just left of

Scoundrel

is a small, right-facing crack system that climbs via a mantel into a small scoop.  From the scoop, it is recommended that you down climb back to the lip and carefully (with a spot!!) drop onto your pad.

It looks like you could continue (HB) to the top if you are crazy enough!!!  I would not try this with version out a rope and as far as I know no one has completed this line to the summit.

Start by laybacking on a set of nice but thin crimps. Then crank left to a larger but still insecure sidepull. Move into a right hand gaston, and pull to a sloping textured lip. Spring up to a nice jug with your right.

From here, either continue right to finish with "

Skyjacked

" or began moving left to a layback crack system that is found just under a small overlap.

Climb the right-facing dihedral just left of "

Scoundrel

" on the right side of the Subterranean Wall.  Mantle to the top out and then down climb back to safety.  The upper section of this side of the wall has not be done without a rope yet.

Start at the far right, sitting below the obvious dihedral. Traverse all the way across the wall to the left. Do the

and continue left and low. Reach out left to a killer hold and windmill it up to the butterfly wing. Finish at the huge flake on the far left.

. This was one of my favorites back in the late '80s. I taught at EHS in 1985. I used to run at lunch to do a lap on this and South Brother. Best warmup spot as holds are somewhat gentle on the fingers.

. Go up the dihedral then fire right to sloper on

. You can then mantle up and exit off right or do the scary finish up the arete to the top.

Start on a nice flat jug just left of

Spotless

.  Crank up and a little right until you gain an underclinging crack system.  Follow this crack system left to a small bulge.  Continue over the bulge to the top.

The ending is the same as for

Exposed In Darkness

(right).

Start on a nice two handed in-cut jug.  Move your feet up onto some bad smears and reach left for a side pull.  Get set and fire for a nice left or right handed jug.  Them move right to meet and finish on "

Exposed In Darkness

."

Start on

Spotless

and traverse right on crimps. Climb into the corner on

Stupefied

. Then make a big move into the high holds on

Scoundrel

. Top out using the same finish as

Scoundrel

.

Start low on the right most arete of The Subterranean Wall.  Squeeze, slap and slip your way to a small stance/ledge where you can then down climb.  The biz is keeping your body under control just before tossing for the final holds that will bring you home.

Climb the steep crimps left of "

Stupefied

" and right of "

Spotless

."  Downclimb after the mantle.

This traverse goes with many variations that result in many different levels of difficulty.  However, the standard traverse starts sitting in a left-facing corner, just left of "

Scoundrel

" and right of "

Spotless

," on ok crimps.

Get your body on the wall and traverse left, passing through the mid section of "

Exposed In Darkness

," and on ward to connect and finish with "

Double Socket

."

A technical, pumpy and powerful line!!!  It's more like a 5.13+ route than a boulder problem.  I am not sure that this line has even be completed to date.
