This fun line would get done more often if only the landing weren't so scary.  It feels like if you fall you may roll all the way down the hill back to the meadow by the ranch house. 

  Start on a good left facing undercling and head up through a right facing jug.  Make a big move to obtain a marginal crimp for the left hand and commit to moving your right hand up on whatever you can find.  Once established make a few more committing moves to get established on top of the boulder.

  Sit start on bad undercling holds this might seem improbably at first, but isn't too bad once you figure things out.  Move straight out through sloping huecos to a tricky move to a right hand sidepull.  Go up and left to an OK hold and bump to a huge jug.  From here climb rightwards on easy jugs to the topout.

Short Order Cook is essentially a one move wonder on excellent rock. This will be an easy tick at the grade for some, but others will leave with nothing but a handful of bloody flappers.  

  Begin lying on your back, with hands matched on an undercling hueco. Move along the horizontal roof on sloping huecos to the lip. A three-foot dyno leads to what is surely one of the sharpest jugs at Hueco. Tape highly recommended! Snag the jug, then move up the vertical wall, heading slightly left to a plethora of great jugs. Topout the slab, then head west to the big chimney to descend.  

The Kitchen is a relatively small area with one of the shortest approaches at Hueco. Most of the problems are located on two boulders that face each other, so half of the problems face East, and the other half face West.  

  The boulders are positioned on a large, sloping slab, so the landings are generally not ideal. Its good to have a number of pads, and a spotter to prevent you from rolling down the slab.
