Frankenstein is the hardest, and also the most "natural" route at the Well-Dunn Wall.  Employing large reaches and thuggy movement this monster follows a line of weakeness out the center of the cave, and then moves up a steep dihedral, eventually moving left to end at the Bride of Frankenstein anchors.  Due to it's manufactured nature, reachy moves, tendency to be silty, and overrated neighbor, this route is the most neglected route at the Well-Dunn Wall.

Make some thrutchy moves on awkwardly oriented pockets to a large pod and setup for a very large move to a flake system in the roof.  Moving off the flake, fight through the redpoint crux, and get into the steep groove above the roof.  Although it's easier and less overhanging, the climbing remains tricky and extremely pumpy, so work the stems and shake when you can.  At the top of the dihedral, move left until you reach the anchors of The Bride of Frankenstein.

Some say this monster should never have been created- that it defies nature.  Despite everything, this route has lots of potential- offering solid rock, and good movement.  All it needs is a little love and attention.  In time, people may learn to love Frankenstein.  Until then, we will continue to let it gather dust, and pretend that this freak of nature doesn't exist.

The Bride of Frankenstein is the most popular route at the Well-Dunn Wall.  Highly manufactured, and totally overrated in the guidebook, this route is all about power endurance.

Start on two small crimps, and follow a line of sequential pockets up to an obvious pod about 15 feet up.  Breifly shake out, and then push through the second half of the difficulties making harder and harder moves until you reach a hand jam under the roof.  Pull the bulge, throw in a kneebar, and then crank out the 12b finish over another roof to the chains.

For some reason, this route is given a 13d grade.  However, considering how much harder routes like Simply Read are, the difficulty of this route seem much closer to 13c's like

Spray-A-Thon

, or

Fluff Boy

.  Irregardless of the grade, or manufacturing, this route is a blast, and definitely deserves all the attention it receives.

Sleestak Love ascends a very pretty blue streak on the left flank of the Well-Dunn Wall.

Climb easy choss for 20 feet, until you reach better stone.  Weave your way up the ever steepening wall, scanning for pockets and edges, and execute the crux just below the chains.

With some traffic, SSL will definitely clean up and become an excellent route.  Unfortunately, since it's practically in the Land of the Lost, this may never happen.

Charleston Choss is the most manufactured route at the Well-Dunn Wall.  The climbing is fun, and the line is cool, but it's basically a drilled pegboard of pockets out the cave to a more natural finish up a steep, roof capped dihedral.

Sequential drilled pockets lead to a crux sequence over the lip.  Once over the roof the climbing is easier, yet devious, involving corner climbing that ends below a massive roof.

Not the best route, but worth doing if you've ticked everything else, and can do it quickly.

Don't be sorry for climbing this route.  Although the bottom is plagued with horrible rock, the moves are fun and the rock dramatically improves the higher you go.

Delicately climb a chossy undercling feature and continue moving left through the first crux using crimps and insecure feet until you reach good holds.  More 5.10 climbing leads back right to a long crux on super thin crimps that culminates with a huge jug below the chains.

This might get a star upgrade once all the choss down low cleans up.

This has easy choss tuggin' to the third bolt, then things get tricky. Make a hard fourth clip, then jump right in to the crux (approximately V8). The crux consists of big, fat pinches, dynos, a rose move or two, and some sidepulls. Then you are straight in to the upper-mid-5.12 headwall on some of the best stone in the canyon with some of the coolest holds in the canyon.... This climb has not seen many ascents....who will be next?

Torque has an amazing bottom crux with with a sustained middle section and techy finish. You got to appreciate the few 13cs in the canyon.

for a few bolts until you can move right. A rightwards, rising traverse through vertical to just-past-vertical rock on good holds gets you to a good jug rest in a faint dihedral. Move slightly left, and tackle the short crux, which involves a fierce right-hand mono and delicate feet. Better holds come quickly as the rock steepens a bit on your way to the chains.

This is a good route, which is more reminiscent of Shelf Road than Rifle. It has good rock and fun movement, the only detractor I found was the very short and somewhat tweaky crux, which is out of character with the rest of the route. Perhaps you can find better beta....
