 Start up face a bit right from the right big tree, staying left of low alcove. Next diagonal left up ramp or crack to get left from below high alcove, then diagonal right to reach the high alcove (or perhaps could cut out some of this zig-zag and go more directly to the high alcove). Up the right side of the alcove, then traverse left across the top of the high alcove. Up a little, then diagonal right and up to the top.

 Variations: Could instead start to the left or to the right of the main route.

 See "shoulder" nub below left from highest cliff-top nub with crack above low 18-inch-deep right-facing corner. See short vertical crack in bulge below shoulder nub.

 Start on face a bit left from below that short vertical crack. Work up to get hand on second left-trending diagonal. Next (crux) reach up to the bottom of the bulge. Up over the bulge staying left of the obvious vertical crack (and not using that crack) to reach a slopy left-trending ramp. Carefully mount onto that, then across it and up to the top of the shoulder nub.

 Likely this route could be started from the base of the left ridge, but that would be much easier than the rest and less interesting. So instead . . . See short vertical crack in bulge below shoulder hump. Start on face a bit left from below that short vertical crack. Up to reach left-trending crack. Diagonal up left with underclings to reach the left ridge, then up the ridge to the top.

 . . . Variation: When reach almost the left ridge, instead of going up it, traverse right to join the next route to the right (above its crux) at the bottom of the bulge.

Interesting big moves on big holds (if you find them and work out positions to use them)

 Start up shallow right-facing corner just right of the left big tree. Up that aiming perhaps a bit left of the top crack. Next up to get a hand to reach bottom of the top vertical crack. Finish up the crack and rock on its right side. . . . (? project variation: finish up top crack without using rock on its right side).

Variation: Start on more defined crack a bit left of the left big tree (and a bit right from a 10-foot-high right-facting corner not more than 12-inch deep). Up the crack to its top and up to a wide V-junction rising cracks at bottom of non-featured face. Traverse with hands on right rising crack to get hand to reach bottom of the top vertical crack. Finish up that crack and rock on its right side.

Lots of routes on interesting rock with diagonal features. Most routes 40-55 ft tall, facing mainly SW or SSW.

 Cool weather days nice in afternoon due to favorable exposure. Much is shaded by mature trees, so not as hot as might expect on hot afternoons. Summer non-dry periods might have more insects because of standing water near base

 Top-Roping: For the Left side, setting up an anchor by top of cliff can be reached by scrambling up around the Left (NW) side. For the Right side, might require more creativity. Another strategy might be to hike/scramble to sector Krauss, then SouthWest past the "aiguille" top of sector NJRG, then somehow find your way down through smaller cliffs and steep slippery grass/dirt/leaves - (? perhaps a rappel will make it safer).

 Name: David Rosenstein greatly expanded legal access to climbing across the USA, as leader of the national Access Fund. Closer to here, his work was for opening the Powerlinez area in southern New York, and earlier the first legal rock climbing in Minnewaska State Park in the southwest Gunks.
